Who we are

The controller of your data is Omar Abbas, trading as hubwi (sole trader), London, UK. Contact: hello@hubwi.com.

What we collect

For the waitlist: your email address, and only that. When you join, we also keep a record of your consent: the wording you agreed to and when you agreed (in UTC).

We do not store your IP address or details about your browser.

Why we use it

We do not sell it, share it for marketing or use it for anything else.

Lawful basis

For the waitlist: consent. You tick the box and give us your email. You can withdraw consent at any time.

For the Turnstile security check: our legitimate interest in keeping the form secure and free of spam.

For emails you send us: our legitimate interest in replying to and dealing with people who contact us.

Where it is stored

In the European Union. The waitlist is kept in a Cloudflare D1 database set to Cloudflare's EU jurisdiction, so your email address is stored in the EU.

Who processes it

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this site and the database. To keep the form free of spam, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is sending it. That check uses technical signals from your browser, which Cloudflare processes for this purpose only. We do not see or store them. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the form secure for this check.

International transfers

Cloudflare, Inc. is a US company, so some processing, such as the Turnstile check, may happen outside the UK. For transfers from the UK to the US, Cloudflare relies on its certification under the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (the UK-US data bridge). If that certification stops applying, Cloudflare's data processing addendum, which forms part of our agreement with Cloudflare, uses the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. Details: cloudflare.com/trust-hub/gdpr.

How long we keep it

12 months from the day you sign up. Then it is deleted. If you withdraw consent sooner, we delete it sooner.

If you email us

If you write to us, we use your message and email address to reply, on the basis of our legitimate interest in dealing with people who contact us. We keep it for 12 months after our last message, then delete it. If we start working together, we will tell you how we handle your details for that.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

How to withdraw consent

Email hello@hubwi.com and say so. We will delete your email address from the waitlist. Withdrawing does not affect anything we did with your consent before you withdrew it.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first at hello@hubwi.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
